Little Grumpy Bear is a gentle tale about friendship, feelings, and the power of kindness. At its core, this story shows how even the grumpiest hearts can change when shown a little care. Through playful forest adventures and wise words from an unexpected friend, young readers discover the beauty of empathy, self-reflection, and second chances. It’s a story that reminds us all — big or small — that joy grows when we share it.
"Absolutely adorable! My son loves the part where the owl gives advice — he now quotes it before bedtime. Such a sweet way to teach kindness.”
Charles Ham is a father of two daughters, Carlia age 19 and Chania age 6. In raising his daughters he makes sure to teach them spiritually moral values at a young age. He believes that kids are the future and should be filled with spiritually sound teachings, to not only strengthen children mentally, but to help change the direction of the world in the future. He brings this thought process to his writings by telling stories that include characters who learn to develop these spiritually moral characteristics through the situations they encounter in their lives.
Hi there, and welcome to the world of Little Grumpy Bear!
I’m Charles Ham, and I created this story to remind little ones (and grown-ups too) that it’s okay to feel grumpy sometimes — as long as we remember the magic of kindness, friendship, and second chances.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope this book brings as many smiles to your home as it did to mine while writing it.
With warmth,
Charles Ham
